Imagine losing the most important person to you over racial reasons. Didn't this end a long time ago? This is the case of Trayvon Martin a young seventeen year old boy walking from the store and was killed by a "WHITE MAN". Trayvon is "BLACK" and just because he was wearing a hoodie Zimmerman killed the unarmed boy. Hearing this I think what is the world coming to and how can I help change this? There are so many ways to help and be apart.
One way I decided to help is by being apart of hug a hoodie. Sometimes I am afraid to speak up and that's not always good but wearing my hoodie I feel like I am actually doing something. We here about this racial case and we just sit there and watch and say "wow thats crazy" but the HELL ARE WE DOING ABOUT IT. This case is unfair and Zimmerman should be served justice. This is important to me and after wearing my hoodie I decided to speak up, no more being afraid to be the odd ball out. This case is more than how I feel it's about whats rite.
In conclusion, I feel that there are more ways to help and if we try I feel that Trayvon will really be at peace. Kids love social network, how about making a page on facebook. We all should be apart of change
This story is so sad... I just feel like crying every time I hear it. He seemed like such a nice boy, innocent just going out to buy a snack. Next thing he knows he was gunned down because somebody thought he looked suspicious because he had on a hoodie. I completely appreciate all of the support that he is getting from News Stations, Facebooks, People in Florida, People here in New york etc. A lot of people have gone out and bought Skittles and a Arizona and then they go home and take a picture with their hoods on holding up the two items, I love it. I love this blog Brittany it really shows your feelings about this tragic story. And I agree we all SHOULD be a part of change. Awesome Job! =D
